A new training for Educators on 'Learning to Live Together (LTLT)' was organized by  Interkulturelles  Zentrum  (www.iz.or.at) in Vienna, Austria, on 11th October 2011. The workshop, entitled “Werte in einer globalisierten Welt” (“Values in a globalised world”)  was carried out by trainer Rebecca Zeilinger from NGO Interkulturelles  Zentrum within the framework of a micro project called “Schule Global”, financed by the Austrian Development Agency. A three-day basic training for Educators on 'Learning to Live Together (LTLT)' was held in Kathmandu, Nepal from September 15th to 17th, 2011. The workshop was organized by Peace Education Network-Nepal (PENN) together with GNRC South Asia Secretariat and Arigatou International. Twenty nine participants participated in the training, including teachers, NGO workers, CSO workers and trainers. The workshop was carried out by Master Trainers, Suchith Abeyewickreme, the Secretariat Coordinator for GNRC South Asia, and Maria Lucia Uribe from Arigatou International. Read more



Last September the Global Network of Religions for Children in El Salvador organised a 2-days training workshop on the use of the Learning to Live Together Manual. About 20 youth leaders from the Lutheran Church participated in this event conducted by an interfaith team of facilitators.

San Lucas Sacatepequez, Guatemala - July 26 to 30 at Monte Carmelo House of Prayer was the site of an Ethics Education workshop on the use of Learning to Live Together with 40 representatives from religious institutions in Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico and Nicaragua. Participants included theologians, managers, educators and youth leaders from the educational programs of these institutions.

A South Asian regional training of trainers course on the use of the ‘Learning To Live Together’ manual for ethics and peace education will be hosted by the Sarvodaya Movement, at the Vishwanikethan International Peace Centre, Rawatawatte, Moratuwa from the 13th to 18th of August, 2011.

A two-year interfaith, intercultural school exchange project is currently being organized by the Cape Town Interfaith Initiative in partnership with the Blackburn College in Blackburn, United Kingdom.
