How long have you been with GNRC and what got you involved with it?

It's my fourth year with GNRC since I joined Utaani Peace Club in January 2006, then I started participating in peace camps and workshops organized by GNRC AFRICA every February and July each year.

Which experience with the Arigatou Foundation that motivates you the most to work for children?

About an experiece, I must say that it is the time of Hiroshima, the time when Arigatou foundation took together the people of different races, nationalities, faith and ages to discussion of the major problems for world's children. I must say I was motivated.

What are the challenges that you find in your efforts as a peace builder?

It's a challenge working with people of the same age as you are, working as a peace maker, you have to be neutral, sometimes you have to forgo some of your important issues, but it's for peace.

Do you have a message for other youth out there?

just want to remind the youth of the world that all the problems of this world are ours, we are responsible of resolving them. Our future generations will put a blem on us if these problems are not solved now. It's us who have that responsibility, let's work together.

What activities have you done to bring the message of Learning to Live Together manual with GNRC in your regions?

I'm involved in organizing debates in schools of different stages with religious leaders on the issues which do not consider religious basis in their effects (diseases, conflicts, poverty, environment and violence to children).

Abdulla participated in Peace Camp, where views on cultural differences were voiced by the young participants. These discussions by youth are featured in an article Peace Very Possible Despite Differences .
